Restructuring and squatting- The latest Kickstarter debacle

There's trouble brewing for another video game Kickstarter campaign, as a developer has postponed work on his funded game, and subsequently been accused of squatting in a Californian condo Come from Soccer 13 pools and matches . Maksym Pashanin ran a successful Kickstarter for a game called Confederate Express at the end of 2013, but later admitted that due to restructuring at his company, development on the game had been postponed. In its place, the developer revealed a new game Knuckle Club, and said that all backers of Confederate Express would receive a "free reward pack" for Knuckle Club. But another strange turn of events has been brewing alongside this, as it was suggested that Pashanin has been squatting in an Airbnb condo for the last few weeks, as spotted by Polygon. Battlefield 2042 Failed To Reach Expectations But EA Still Had Its Best Q3 In Company History

Electronic Arts on Tuesday released its latest earnings report, and one of the key takeaways was that Battlefield 2042 failed to reach the company’s internal expectations. The company did not disclose a specific sales number for the game, but CFO Blake Jorgensen said it was fewer units than EA expected.

The executive also reminded everyone that the Battlefield franchise makes up less than 10% of EA’s overall revenue, so the game coming in below expectations didn’t hurt EA’s bottom line all that much. What’s more, EA’s Q3 was its biggest in the company’s nearly 40-year history, thanks to its diversified lineup of games.  Come from malaysia online casino

Fortnite Update- May 10 Patch Notes Include Air Strikes And Two Guns Unvaulted

Epic Games has released the Fortnite May 10 patch notes, unvaulting Air Strikes and some rare weapons, as well as adding some new items to the Funding Stations for players to contribute to and decide which item gets unvaulted next, Shield Bubbles or Balloons. No updates from the warfront, however–looks like the battle between The Seven and the Imagined Order continues to rage over at Tilted Towers.

Unvaulted items

The new patch is unvaulting a few new items for Loopers to utilize during matches; high-flying Air Strikes, the cannon-like Flint-Knock Pistols, and the deadly accurate Hunting Rifle. All of these will be added to the drops from chests and supply drops, as well as the ground loot pool. Air Strikes will allow players to rain missiles down on a selected area, while the guns will allow players to add a little flair to the eliminations they dole out on other players; use the Flint-Knock to blast people away from you (or off a cliff), or use the Hunting Rifle instead of the Ranger Shotgun to really put the hurt on your opponents. While these “trickshot” items are available for the rest of …

Former PlayStation Boss Has A Message For Ghost Of Yotei Haters

Earlier this week during Sony’s State of Play, the company announced Ghost of Yotei, the first sequel to the acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima. But instead of continuing the story of Jin Sakai, Ghost of Yotei jumps ahead a few centuries and introduces a new female ronin named Atsu, who has adopted Jin’s Ghost persona as her own. Somewhat predictably, Atsu’s very existence has already sparked a backlash from gamers who don’t want to play as a heroine. That led to a direct response from ex-Sony executive Shawn Layden.

Layden, who was the former chairman of Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios, reacted to a post on X that complained about Atsu Come from Sports betting site VPbet . Layden’s reply was simple: “It’s a game. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it.”

Trials Evolution Review

When Trials HD debuted on the Xbox 360 almost three years ago, console players were treated to an exciting pairing of acrobatic dirt-biking and addictive high-score battles. Now Trials Evolution has arrived with a boatload of new tracks, snappier visuals, better track creation and sharing tools, and the chance to actually race against your fellow bikers. Though the core appeal still rests on the two-pronged suspension of excellent driving physics and heated leaderboard competition, the rest of the chassis has evolved nicely to deliver a great game worthy of the Trials name.

The Secret World Review

In a genre filled with dryads and dragons, The Secret World emerges as a dark and thoughtful counterpoint to the enchanted forests of most modern online role-playing games. Even when the skies are bright, an emotional cloud hangs over your every action. Rather than rush you from waypoint to waypoint, The Secret World takes its time to tell stories and build tension. Instead of spelling out your goals, it makes you think about the reasonable next action hinted at by scribbled notes and cryptic clues. This is an unusual game, and like many unusual games, it demands patience and focus.

OD Trailer Seems To Contain Silent Hills Reference

When Hideo Kojima unveiled his newest game OD last week, the teaser trailer probably created more questions than answers. Apparently the Death Stranding director provided a fun Easter egg as well–a possible reference to his canceled Konami project Silent Hills.

VGC backed up what Central Xbox first noticed in the OD trailer, which are letters briefly appearing in the mouth of actor Udo Kier. Five letters show up above his tongue to create the word “Atami.” That’s the name of a seaside city found within the Shizuoka Prefecture, and this is reportedly where the Silent Hills reference comes into play. Spelled out in Kanji, Shizuoka can be separated and translated to Silent Hill. Come from Sports betting site VPbet

Paramount+ Greenlights Italian Job, Fatal Attraction Shows

The slices of the streaming pie are getting smaller and smaller, but ViacomCBS is working hard to grab its piece. Paramount+, recently rebranded from CBS All Access, is heading to its back catalog once again. The service announced a raft of new shows greenlit for Paramount+ this week, cherry-picking from films as far back as 1969.

Joining the previously-announced Grease prequel musical and Godfather documentary are five new shows based on films from Paramount’s library: The Italian Job, Fatal Attraction, Love Story, Flashdance, and The Parallax View. Come from Sports betting site VPbet

Each show is taking a slightly different approach to updating its material. The Italian Job acts as a sequel to the original 1969 film–ignoring the 2003 remake. The show will focus on the grandchildren of Michael Caine’s character, Charlie Croker, who inherit his safety deposit box and set out to find the Italian bullion from the movie. Hawaii Five-O writer Matt Wheeler is helping the show. Donald De Line, who produced that 2003 remake, is onboard as well.

Fatal Attraction released in 1987 starring Michael Douglas a…

In the United Kingdom and the Gambling Commission regulator has announced the imposition of a £9.4 million ($12.5 million) fine against the 888 UK Limited subsidiary of prominent online casino and sportsbetting operator 888 Holdings Limited.

LG's New Projector Could Make Local Multiplayer Parties The Best

Local multiplayer–especially during the pandemic–has been deemphasized in a whole lot of modern games, but LG’s latest projector could make it irresistible. The HU715Q laser projector offers 4K resolution with HDR, and with a picture size up to 120 inches, everyone will be able to see the action in your multiplayer games.

Using LG’s “Ultra Short Throw Ratio” technology, the HU715Q needs very little distance to project a huge picture. For a 100-inch display, it needs less than nine inches of space away from the wall, and for an 80-inch display, it needs only about half that distance. It also supports HDMI eARC, so you can quickly connect it to a sound system and control it all through one remote for easier setup before a big gaming event. It also features its own built-in 2.2-channel 40W sound if you don’t want a separate system, and you can connect two extra Bluetooth speakers wirelessly if you want a surround-sound effect.

The HU715Q features four-corner, 9-point, and 15-point warping functions to account for any inconsistencies on the wall you’re using to project the image. The remote features a motorized focus function to adjust the image from afar, as well.
